A Tokyo exhibition places OIGEN cookware alongside smaller iron objects. Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten’s September 30 notice schedules the display for October 2–25, 2026, at its store on KITTE Marunouchi’s fourth floor.

Beyond the cooking vessels

The announced selection includes iron kettles of less than one litre, pots, a new iron incense holder and a Nambu iron wind chime described as a revival of an item from about 50 years ago. The notice does not establish that each listed piece is newly released.

The retailer dates the maker’s founding in Mizusawa, Oshu, Iwate, to 1852. This is the retailer’s historical account, rather than our inspection of the foundry.

The schedule is still shown in the current notice, but live event inventory and prices are not confirmed. Individual coatings and heat-source compatibility are also unspecified here; a kettle or pot’s inclusion in the exhibition should not be treated as a use instruction.
