ANEX announced a 2026 Good Design Award for its PRD precision screwdrivers on October 20. The notice identifies an award for the range, rather than establishing a new product-launch date. Its linked product information leads to PRD models and the PRD-S1 set.
Check what the set contains
PRD-S1 contains six drivers in a storage case: slotted sizes 0.9, 1.2, 1.8 and 2.5, plus cross-head sizes 00 and 0. The official product page lists ¥2,500 before tax. Other PRD sizes shown alongside the product are not automatically part of this six-piece set.
Three different materials
The material table identifies chromium-molybdenum-vanadium steel at the blade, stainless steel for the holder and POM for the rotating cap. ANEX says it applies its own heat treatment to the blade steel. That is a manufacturing-process statement from the maker, not our measurement of hardness, wear resistance or screw fit.
We have not tested the drivers. The award notice and product specifications also do not establish current retailer inventory or international delivery; verify those separately for the exact model.
